Instead, what we've got here is a full-fledged, classically inspired singer-songwriter album with lots of other instruments, and partly with vocals, too. In a word - fantantastic! Barbara Rubin is from Italy, and actually, her songs radiate that special distinct RPI feeling that's present in many Italian music works since the early 70's. Without hesitating, I've bought "Under The Ice", too. Favorite track: Sleeping Violin.

I received this as a surprise present by the band for pre-ordering the upcoming album, so thanks a lot to you, too :-)) As could be expected by Pat Sanders & Co, highly melodic prog that should, for instance, appeal too friends of Fish-era Marillion (although Uncle Fish would never have reached those high notes ;-) ) and some instrumentals (from beautiful miniatures like Bubbles to the more epic Last Supper). Among many other fine things offered here, I especially love Pat's piano playing! Carsten Pieper
